Visiting Hours:
Family members and friends of our guests are welcome to visit at Gateway Medical Center. We ask that they observe the following visitation schedule:

New Beginnings Family Birth Center: One designated person, with a proper identification band, may stay with mom 24-hours a day. Other family and friends may visit from 1 - 9 p.m.

Children under the age of 12 are not allowed to visit unless they are siblings of the newborn. During RSV season, no children under the age of 4 are allowed in any patient care area.

Patient Safety:
At Gateway, we want to work with you in planning and providing quality care in a safe setting. You as a family member or significant other can help keep the patient safe and accident free during their stay in our hospital. Dining Options:
Our cafeteria is located on the first floor across from the Gift Shop. It offers a wide selection of hot entrees, fresh salads and deli-style sandwiches.
Cafeteria Hours: Breakfast: 6:30 to 9 a.m. Lunch: 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Break: 1:30 to 3 p.m. Dinner: 4:15 to 6 p.m. Late Night: 1 to 2 a.m. (monday-friday only)

Our Snack Shop (vending area), open 24-hours a day, is located on the first floor beside the Gift Shop.

Smoking Policy:
To promote a clean and healthy environment for our guests, smoking is prohibited inside all Gateway facilities as well as all entrances. This policy applies to employees, medical staff, volunteers, patients and visitors. The only designated smoking area is provided on the Four Seasons Terrace accessed through the Snack Shop.

Cellular/Wireless Phone Policy:
Gateway Medical Center prohibits the use of cellular telephones in designated Sensitive Patient Areas (SPAs). Please check with staff before using your cell phone in the Medical Center.

Pastoral Care:
If you need a moment for quiet reflection or prayer, feel free to visit our newly remodeled chapel. Located on the first floor near the main lobby, it is open 24 hours a day to patients, family members and visitors. The garden area in front of the Medical Center is also a peaceful place to visit. Devotional literature is available in the chapel and waiting areas. For those needing spiritual support or counseling, one of our volunteer chaplains is available on a 24-hour basis. ATM:
The Medical Center has an ATM machine conveniently located by the elevator on the first floor near the cafeteria. This machine is available to everyone and is free for use by all Gateway Credit Union ATM cardholders.

Medical Records:
Our Health Information Management department is located on the first floor of the Medical Center (click here to download a map of Gateway Medical Center) and can be reached at 931-551-1383.
